Don’t miss the last segment of the 6th Annual Jazz on the Lawn summer concert series, presented by Santa Monica Cultural Affairs. Bring a picnic, blanket and beach chair and enjoy a sampling of free jazz each Sunday in August from 5 to 7 p.m. on the lawn in front of Santa Monica City Hall. Get up and move to the music then cool off with a frozen treat from the dessert trucks. Performing on August 19, The Electrones, who play a range of jazz, blues and soul from the traditional to the experimental that will get you up on your feet. Free bike valet in the parking lot north of City Hall. Free parking available after 4 p.m. at Santa Monica Civic Center Auditorium, 1855 Main Street.

Enjoy Santa Monica’s sights and sounds via the Santa Monica Museum of Art’s Third Annual Tour da Arts bike event. Participate in the spoke-card workshop and scenic ride with stops for music, dance, and art along the way. The ride culminates with the Bicycle Bell Ensemble, a tuneful collaborative performance. All stops will last about 30 minutes. Full bike route is approximately 7 miles. Snacks and refreshments provided by Whole Foods Santa Monica. Activities are open to all ages. All riders receive a free bicycle bell and the first 150 riders to register and check-in receive a free Tour da Arts bag.
