9/11 Remembrance Ceremony Across Santa Monica On Sunday:

The Santa Monica Fire Department will conduct remembrance ceremonies at all of its fire stations at 6:45 a.m. tomorrow — the tenth anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

The public, city employees, and in particular neighbors of the fire stations, who are interested in participating are invited to gather at any one of the fire stations listed below.

The observance ceremonies will begin promptly at 6:45 a.m. and should last no longer than 20 minutes.

Station 1: 1444 Seventh Street

Station 2: 222 Hollister Avenue

Station 3/4: 1302 Nineteenth Street

Station 5: 2450 Ashland Avenue

The Fire Chief, Police Chief, and City Council members will be present at remembrance ceremony at Station 1.
