LA BBQ Festival Concludes On Santa Monica Pier Today:

LA BBQ Festival runs from September 9-11.

The Third LA BBQ Festival concludes at Santa Monica Beach today, in the parking lot north of the pier.

The three day event, which started on Friday, features authentic ‘cue from Texas, Kansas City, Chicago, Santa Maria, and Memphis.

There will also be desserts, more 30 beers on tap, wine, cocktails and live music, all included in the $60 price tag for each session.

Regional specialties will include tri-tip, brisket, pulled pork and sausages served by such BBQ legends as three-time world champion Butch Lupinetti of Smack Your Lips BBQ in Memphis and eight other nationally recognized pit bosses from all over the country.

A percentage of proceeds from will support Noah’s Bark Animal Rescue.
