Redmond O’Neal Ordered To LAX Courthouse Friday Morning: Possible three years state prison if probation violated

Redmond O’Neal, the son of the late Farrah Fawcett, who was arrested by Santa Monica police on Aug. 2 for possessing drug and weapons, has been ordered back to the LAX courthouse in the morning where a date is scheduled to be set for a possible probation violation hearing.

RadarOnline is reporting that O’Neal “tested positive for drugs on Saturday, while in his current West Los Angeles rehab facility, and the dirty test is being reported to the court.”

O’Neal was sentenced Aug. 24 at the LAX Courthouse to a one year live-in rehabilitation program.

He pleaded no contest to the charges that stemmed from SMPD officers stopping him at about 8:45 a.m. on Aug. 2 where they found he was in possession of heroin and marijuana.

O’Neal was seen by a patrol officer arguing with someone at a gas station on the corner of Lincoln Boulevard and Olympic Boulevard (near the I-10 Santa Monica Freeway entrance).

This aroused the officer’s interest so he followed O’Neal as he jumped into his black 2010 Nissan Altima and sped off, blowing through a red turn signal in the process.

After he was stopped, Santa Monica Police Department officer conducted a search and found the drugs.

Sandi Gibbons, of the District Attorney’s Office, told The Mirror on Aug. 24 that if O’Neal did not complete his probation under the terms imposed by the court, he is looking at three years in state prison.
