Santa Monica Bowling Alley Manager Makes Person’s Arrest: APB: Bowled Over

On Thursday, Sept. 8, at 7:30 p.m. officers of the Santa Monica Police Department went to the bowling alley located at 234 Pico Boulevard in response to a report of a woman who had returned to the location after she had been asked to leave.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with the manager who informed them this woman had been causing a disturbance, and had also been throwing food inside the restaurant.

The manager explained he had asked her to leave and she had complied, however, the woman had returned shortly afterwards and had then refused to leave when asked to do so.

The manager signed a private person’s arrest and the officers took her into custody.

This 42-year-old woman, of no fixed abode, was charged with trespassing, and a probation violation. Her bail was set at $10,000.
