After a very fast start that put the No. 2 SaMoHi Vikings volleyball team up two games to none on Tuesday, Beverly Hills seemed to wake up.
The Normans jumped out to an 8-2 and 14-7 lead in the third game before the Vikings got back on track. SaMoHi tied the third at 17 and 18 before the Normans made one final push to win the third game 25-23.
But when a team that believes they’re better gets mad, that is usually when the truth comes out.
SaMoHi jumped on the Normans in the fourth game to get out in front by 10 before the Normans overcame their intimidation and made it close.
But the Vikings would prevail on this day in a four-set win 25-9, 25-18, 23-25, 25-17.
