Santa Monica Police Search For Sexual Assault Suspects:

Santa Monica police are urging anyone with information about a sexual assault in the 800 block of Pico Boulevard last Wednesday afternoon to contact the department.

On Oct. 19, 2011 at 2 p.m. a female victim reported she was walking along Pico Boulevard when she was grabbed from behind and dragged into the alley located on the north east corner of Lincoln and Pico Boulevard.

Once in the alley, multiple suspects attempted to remove her clothing while sexually assaulting her.

The victim was able to fight off her attackers and run away.

The suspects are described as follows:

Suspect 1: Male Hispanic, in his 30’s with black hair “buzz cut,” wearing a white t-shirt, black “Dickies” shorts and white socks

Suspect 2: Male Hispanic, in his mid-30’s, wearing a black t-shirt and blue jeans. Suspect had a tattoo of a skull on his left forearm

Suspect 3: Male White in his late 30’s, wearing a long sleeve black shirt over a white t-shirt, black “Dickies” shorts and white basketball shoes

Possible vehicle associated with the suspect’s is described as an older model four-door brown Cadillac.

The initial investigation is ongoing and anyone with additional information is asked to contact Detective Hicks at 310.458.8983, Sergeant Jacob at 310.458.8460 or the Santa Monica Police Department (24 hours) at 310.458.8495.
