Santa Monica will host a handful of events as part of the first annual Los Angeles Food & Wine luxury food and wine celebration, being dubbed as the biggest event of its kind in the country.
The four-day event started Thursday and will go through Sunday with events in Santa Monica, Downtown LA, Hollywood, and Beverly Hills.
The weekend will combine world-renowned celebrity chefs, internationally acclaimed wineries, and celebrities from film, sports, and music.
Among the highlights are wine tastings, cooking demonstrations, lunches, dinners, after hours parties, and live entertainment.
In Santa Monica, the California Clambake with Tom Colicchio will be held tonight, Oct. 14 from 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Admission is $350 for the evening that features unique takes on coastal cuisine where guests will enjoy delicious bites and sample beach friendly wine, beer, and spirits.
Chef Colicchio and more than 10 of his culinary friends will cook up the clambake for guests.
Guy Fieri’s Brew B’Que On Santa Monica Pier will be held from 3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 15. This event will include BBQ, beer, and a live performance from multi-platinum selling rocker Uncle Kracker. Tickets are $150.
