The Mirror Names Its Pumpkin Contest Winner:

Craig B. Johnson's "Pumpkin Lion" carving is the 2011 winner of The Mirror's annual pumpkin carving contest.

The Santa Monica Mirror is pleased to announce Craig B. Johnson as the winner of its annual pumpkin carving contest.

As the winner, a $200 donation will be made in his name to his charitable organization of choice, which he selected as Pacifica Christian High School in Santa Monica.

Johnson said he grew the pumpkin himself before he sculpted it into his creation called “Pumpkin Lion”.

The Mirror thanks all of those readers who submitted entries this year.
