The Santa Monica College Theatre Arts Department will present David Lindsay-Abaire’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play, “Rabbit Hole,” from Nov. 4-13 in the Theatre Arts Studio Stage, 1900 Pico Blvd, Santa Monica.
“Rabbit Hole,” which won the 2007 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and a Tony Award for lead actress Cynthia Nixon, tells the story of a couple dealing with the loss of their four-year-old son.
The Broadway production received critical acclaim, with The New York Times saying it “inspires such copious weeping among its audience that you wonder if you should have taken a life jacket.”
“Rabbit Hole” was also made into a film starring Nicole Kidman and Aaron Eckhart.
Show times are Fridays at 8 p.m., Saturdays at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m., and Sundays at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10. Parking is free on Friday evenings and weekends.
A $1-per-ticket service charge is added. There is no late seating.
