Free Workshop For Plug-In Electric Vehicle Owners At Santa Monica Library On Wednesday:

The California Center for Sustainable Energy (CCSE), in partnership with the City of Santa Monica, the South Coast Air Quality Management District, and the EV Project, is holding a free workshop for Santa Monica residents interested in learning more about life as a plug-in electric vehicle (PEV) owner.

The workshop will be held this Wednesday evening, Feb. 15, at Santa Monica’s Main Library.

This unique workshop provides a one-stop shop for information about:

· The up to $2,500 rebate available through California’s Clean Vehicle Rebate Project.

· Southern California Edison’s PEV rates and programs.

· Regional activity on public infrastructure.

A panel of your neighbors will share a range of their experiences from purchasing a PEV, installing a charging station as well as the financial benefits associated with making the switch to a PEV.

Complimentary appetizers will be provided for all who attend.

Appetizers starting at 6:00 p.m., workshop starting at 6:30 p.m. through 8:30 p.m.

The California Center for Sustainable Energy, a San Diego-based non-profit, administers the Clean Vehicle Rebate Project. CCSE is conducting workshops throughout the State in order to promote the CVRP and to educate consumers on electric vehicle technologies, new electric vehicle charging infrastructure and important consumer information regarding these vehicles.
