Gloria Cheng In Concert With The Santa Monica Symphony

Saturday, March 10 at 7:30 p.m.

Pre-concert events from 4 p.m. onwards

Santa Monica Civic Auditorium, 1855 Main Street

Don’t miss your chance to see preeminent new music pianist Gloria Cheng take the stage with the Santa Monica Symphony – for free!

The evening’s program includes Beethoven’s Symphony No. 4, John Adams’ Eros Piano (with Cheng as soloist), and Strauss’ Death and Transfiguration. Make sure you check out the three pre-concert events.

Santa Monica Ford Lincoln will be offering free test-drives in the Civic parking lot. The Symphony will receive $20 for each test drive – and the Symphony will be giving free parking to the first 250 test drivers.

UCLA Professor of Musicology Raymond Knapp will give a lecture on the concert repertoire beginning at 6:30 p.m.

And at 7 p.m., Santa Monica youth orchestra Elemental Strings will take the stage for an exciting set.
