Looking to match the success of its solar Ferris wheel, Santa Monica’s Pacific Park has been testing a solar Tilt-a-Whirl with mixed results.
“The sun will come out, and everybody’s spinning around and really having a great time. Then it gets overcast… and the wait can sometimes be as long as an hour or more,” explained a technician from “Ride This!” Amusements, the company selling the ride.
