Two new faces have joined Downtown Santa Monica, Inc. (DTSM), the corporation that manages services, operations, and marketing in Downtown Santa Monica.
Cheryl Bagby has been appointed Digital Marketing Manager while Chris Brown has been appointed Operations Coordinator.
In her newly created position, Bagby will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and management of all digital marketing and integrated communication strategies for DTSM, including strategic and budgetary planning.
She will focus on enhancing Downtown Santa Monica’s online presence via the newly designed website, create effective social media campaigns, and capitalize on synergistic digital platforms.
Her appointment is part of a larger restructuring effort designed to help the organization enhance its online and digital presence, and ensure that all marketing objectives for Downtown Santa Monica are met. Bagby’s most recently position was Email Marketing Manager at the Santa Monica based company, BeachMint.
In his new role as Operations Coordinator, Brown will be responsible for coordinating operations and maintenance projects for the organization, including day-to-day activities and services of the $1.2 million a year comprehensive Ambassador Program, and keeping the half-million-dollar-a-year Enhanced Maintenance program on track.
“What most excites me about this new role is meeting the day-to-day challenge of maintaining a clean and safe Downtown for everyone to enjoy,” Brown said.
Debbie Lee, Vice President of DTSM, welcomed the pair to the team with great enthusiasm.
“They each bring the unique qualities and strong work ethic essential to our organization as we move forward in creating the future Downtown Santa Monica,” Lee said.
