Free Information Talk Tonight About Brain Function And Preventing Injuries:

Kehillat Israel Reconstructionist Congregation in Pacific Palisades invites the public to an evening of education and information tonight, Oct. 17 presented by Dr. Christopher Giza and his team of experts from the UCLA Brain Injury Research Center and Mattel Children’s Hospital at 7:30 p.m.

Two concurrent sessions (one for students and one for parents) will cover the range of topics from how the brain functions, how it can be injured, how it heals and how to prevent injuries, with special emphasis on youth sports.

The event is free. It will be held at 16019 
Sunset Blvd., Pacific Palisades.
