Big Blue Bus February Service Change Begins Today:

Santa Monica’s Big Blue Bus is reminding the community of the following minor changes that will take effect today and tomorrow, Feb. 11 to better improve service and efficiency, and hopefully save a couple of minutes. 

Routes 1, 8, 11 and 12: Stop on southbound Westwood Blvd. at Massachusetts Ave. will no longer be in service.

Route 2: Trip departing at 3:23 p.m. from 4th St. at Civic Center Way will no longer operate.

Routes 2 and 3: Buses departing from Westwood heading towards Downtown Santa Monica will now avoid Westwood Blvd. and Wilshire Blvd. intersection.

Route 7: Local 7 stop on westbound Pico Blvd. at Stewart St. (in front of 99¢ Store) will now join the Rapid 7 stop just west of Stewart St.

Routes 8, 12 and Rapid 12: Stop on northbound Westwood Blvd. at Santa Monica Blvd. (in front of car wash) will no longer be in service.

Route 9: Minor route and time changes in Pacific Palisades (please note: this change will occur later in February).

Route 14: Buses departing from Paul Revere Middle School will now turn from SanVicente Blvd.onto southbound Bundy Dr. Buses will not continue east of Bundy Dr.

Rapid 20: Stop on eastbound National Blvd. at Venice Blvd. (in front of Palms Self Storage) to be served near Expo Culver City Station.
