Could Wal-Mart Be Coming To Santa Monica?:

A reduced Wal-Mart mega store is being pursued in Santa Monica, possibly towards the City’s easterly corridor, according to LALATE.com.

The website reports that Wal-Mart has yet to pull any permits with the City of Santa Monica, but it says its sources indicate that Wal-Mart would be interested in a reduced full service operation in Santa Monica offering everything from groceries to appliances.
