Hotel Shangrila In Santa Monica To Host Four Free Events In Honor Of BritWeek:

Hotel Shangrila owner Tamie Adaya presents a series of events in recognition of British talent and BritWeek starting this Sunday.

The events are free and open to the public. Reservations are highly recommended at RSVP@Shangrila-Hotel.com or call 310.394.2791.

Sunday April 28: 2 pm to  5 pm

— Mich Dulce Jubilee Hat Party

— Hotel Shangrila Pool Courtyard

British fashion designer, milliner and corset-maker at poolside hat party complete with photo booth, Jubilee-style bunting, biscuits, tea and cake in proud association with BritWeek.

Monday, April 29: 8 pm to  9:30 pm

— Matthew Stone Artist Rooftop Reception  

— Hotel Shangrila Suite 700

Exciting upcoming British artist Matthew Stone, named most influential person in the arts in the UK under 30 by the Sunday Times, co-hosts with Hotel Shangrila owner and art patron Tamie Adaya. This BritWeek event takes place at Hotel Shangrila’s Suite 700, the rooftop bar and lounge, which opens to the public at 9:30 p.m.

Wednesday, May 1: 7 pm to 10 pm

— KESH 4 Shangrila Art Launch

— Hotel Shangrila Penthouse

World renowned British artist KESH unveils her KESH 4 Shangrila art project. Seven specially-created custom art pieces will be debuted to the public for the first time at Hotel Shangrila’s Penthouse deck with 360 degree views of Los Angeles/Santa Monica in association with BritWeek.

Thursday, May 2: 9 pm to 2 am

–Hotel Shangrila Rooftop Bar and Lounge, Suite 700

BritWeek’s second event with influential British artist Matthew Stone is an intimate low-key party on the rooftop of the hotel.
