Have you ever noticed the historic architectural gem on the corner of Hill and 2nd Street in Ocean Park known as “The Church in Ocean Park”?
It’s a beloved part of the community, but it needs some extra attention right now.
Locals are stepping up to the plate to raise much needed funds to protect and preserve the creaky 90-year-old church ensuring that it makes it to its next 100 years.
Rusty Surf Ranch owner Russ Barnard has offered his Santa Monica Pier restaurant/bar to host a benefit concert featuring local band The Bonedaddys, who will perform two shows this Sunday, April 28.
The 6 pm show ticket ($50) includes dinner while the 8:30 pm ticket ($15) is for the show only.
Both shows will open with magician David Groves.
The doors at Rusty’s Surf Ranch will open at 5:30 pm on Sunday for the 6 pm dinner show. Doors open at 8 pm for the 8:30 pm show.
