Commercial real estate events producer BisNow hosted a “Creative Office Summit” on Wednesday to discuss how creative tenants, such as RiotGames, NastyGal, Amazon and Google, are changing the way developers think about office space.
Panelists discussed an emphasis on collaborative space, flexibility for a variety of work styles, and inspirational environments that nurture creative juices.
Christopher Rising, President and COO of Rising Realty Partners, said his number one prerequisite when evaluating a property was access to public transportation.
He cited one of his tenants, video game studio Odd Gentleman, as being completely car free, adding all of his tenants are seeking options when it comes to how they get around the city.
The summit took place at Element LA on Bundy between Olympic and Santa Monica Boulevard.
Element LA is a redevelopment of a 12-acre site into a collaborative campus.
