Halloween Highlights In Santa Monica Tonight:

Halloween 2013 has arrived and there are plenty of Santa Monica happenings tonight. Here’s a look at some of the highlights:

Montana Avenue will host its annual Halloween Hop. Safely stroll Montana Avenue for tricks and treats. Hop will run from 3-6 pm. Montana Avenue between 6th and 17th Streets. montanaave.com.

Westside Comedy Theater will host a Halloween party. Drink pumpkin beer; sing “scary-oke” plus enter the Haunted Green Room. Party begins at 8 pm.  21 and over.  Must have ID to enter.  Admission is free. 1323-A 3rd Street. 310.451.0850. westsidecomedy.com.

Sonoma Wine Garden will host a spectacular “Haunted Hollywood” themed Halloween Party. There will be a DJ, dance floor, amazing door prized and specialty cocktails all night long. Aero Theater will screen “NOSFERATU,” F.W. Murnau’s reinvention of the story of Dracula as a silent German Expressionist fable with live piano accompaniment by Cliff Retallick. The 1st Annual Zombie Crawl will be held on Halloween night, starting at Rusty’s Surf Ranch on the Santa Monica Pier. Crawlers will moan and growl their way through the city for spooky drink and food specials all night. Makeup artists will be on-site to assist with the zombie-fying process, and an official group photo will be taken under the pier sign at 8 pm to magnify the zombie takeover. Crawl runs from 6 pm to 2am. Participating bars include Big Dean’s, Ye Olde King’s Head, Barney’s Beanery, Britannia Pub, West 4th and Jane, and Wokcano.
