Dear Editor,
I find it ironic that the same City Council member who approved projects that have increased traffic in Santa Monica to gridlock levels has the nerve to complain about the inconvenience to a few people for a couple of hours during a few races a year.
Perhaps Council members should try to travel from SM City Hall to West Los Angeles via Ocean Park Boulevard some weekday afternoon at about 5:30 pm?
If they did, they would discover first-hand the inconvenience many hundreds of their constituents have to bear twice daily.
