The Pacific Palisades Democratic Club will hold its Annual Meeting Sunday, Jan. 26 featuring addresses by Congressman Henry Waxman (33rd District), Assemblymember Richard Bloom (50th District), and Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti.
The meeting, which is free and open to the public, will be held at the Pacific Palisades Woman’s Club, 901 Haverford Avenue in Pacific Palisades.
The current schedule slates Garcetti first, then Waxman, then Bloom, based on their time constraints.
Each of the three has 30 minutes total to speak on the topics of his choice and to answer questions from the audience.
Refreshments will be served and parking will be available.
This event serves as the club’s official “annual meeting” (though the club holds many events throughout the year and its board meets monthly), at which the 2014 executive board candidate slate and proposed bylaw modifications will be up for ratification by all club members in good standing who are present.
Admission free (optional $10 suggested donation to help defray costs).
