Adoption Pets Of The Week: Six Year Old Tabby, Father/Son Dog Duo:

Meet Lion the tabby cat and father/son duo Grizzly and Bernardo.

Located a stone’s throw from Santa Monica, the No Kill Los Angeles (NKLA) Pet Adoption Center in West LA offers a plethora of canines and felines available for adoption.

Lion is a six-year-old orange tabby that has been deemed an “authority on love” by the adoption center among the variety of pets.

He is from the Stray Cat Alliance, one of NKLA’s coalition partners.

He enjoys neck and belly rubs and loves to meet and play with potential new owners. His friendly, warm mannerisms make it ideal for cat lovers to take Lion home.

A father-and-son duo, Grizzly and Bernardo are pug/chihuahua mixes. This pair makes for double the love and affection that come alongside a man’s best friend.

The two dogs are from the Best Friends Animal Society Los Angeles and are available to adopt.

The father, Grizzly, is a year-and-a-half-old, and his son Bernardo, is only three months old.

The pets at NKLA are spayed/neutered and vaccinated, eager to greet potential new owners and ready to go to new homes.

NKLA is located at 1845 Pontius Avenue in West Los Angeles, near Sepulveda and Santa Monica Boulevard. It is open daily from noon to 8 pm. For more information, call 424.208.8840 or visit nkla.org/petadoptioncenter.

In the category identifying the 10 worst stretches of roadway for traffic on earth – that’s right, the entire planet – our Santa Monica freeway was cited for the stretch of the 10 Freeway between 20th and Alameda streets.
