New Roads Boys Soccer Team Overtake Wildwood To Earn Playoff Spot: Jaguars get last-minute flourish to get into postseason

Needing the win to earn a berth into the CIF-Southern Section playoffs, the New Roads boys soccer team overcame a 2-0 deficit against Wildwood to win 3-2 during a home match at Marine Park on Friday, Feb. 14.

The Jaguars scored three goals, including the game winner, with about 90 seconds left in the contest.  

Sophomore Andre McCallister scored the two goals, including the game winner.

Sophomore Adrien Cheh scored the tying goal with four minutes remaining in the game. The Jaguars face Summit View in the first round of playoffs today.
