Santa Monica College Community Education Spring Session Begins Feb. 18:

One of the SMC Community Education classes being offered this spring is 'Photographing at a Museum: Spring at the Getty Villa.'

With SMC Community Education’s spring session starting Feb. 18, the program is offering a “Spring Cashback Extravaganza” that runs through Feb. 28.

Here is how it works: Students who sign up for classes over $100 receive a $10 discount; over $200, a $25 discount; and over $300, a $50 discount.

The offer is good through Feb. 28, and students must call 310-434-3400 and mention the Cashback campaign to receive the discount.

The discount applies only to classes registered at the same time and is not retroactive. And the special deal is only good only for on-ground classes (not online classes).

Classes, workshops and tours are spread out throughout the session, which ends in mid-June.

Alice Meyering, Program Coordinator of Community & Contract Education, said with spring just around the corner, now is the time for renewal and new beginnings.

“Whether it’s learning new skills, a new language, new cuisine, new art forms or new experiences, we believe our Cashback Extravaganza will help our community realize its dreams,” Meyering said.

Community Education this spring is offering more than 170 classes, workshops and tours, including several new offerings.

To register, call 310.434.3400 or go to http://commed.smc.edu. Anyone seeking further information can also email commed@smc.edu.
