Wisconsin Woman Killed Near Santa Monica Pier In Hit-And-Run:

The fatal accident occurred in the 1600 block of Ocean Avenue near Seaside Terrace.

Santa Monica police are looking for a silver or grey Infinity, G-35, 2003-13 with damage to the front end passenger side that was involved in a fatal hit-and-run near the Santa Monica Pier at 1 am Saturday.

SMPD Sgt. Jay Moroso said a 61-year-old woman from Wisconsin and her daughter, 32, were struck in the 1600 block of Ocean Avenue near Seaside Terrace by a driver of the sports coupe with tinted windows. The driver fled the scene.

Moroso said the mother succumbed to her injuries at a hospital at 2 am; the daughter was taken to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

The vehicle allegedly fled southbound on Ocean Avenue without stopping.
