The northbound 405 Freeway lanes will close between the 10 Freeway and Santa Monica Boulevard in West Los Angeles tonight, April 23 at midnight to 5 am Thursday, April 24.
The closure will facilitate installation of mainline traffic loops.
Ramps will be closed as early as 7 pm, and lanes will begin to close at 10 pm.
Ramp Closures:
— Eastbound and westbound 10 Freeway connectors to northbound 405 Freeway
— Northbound 405 Freeway on-ramp from Olympic Boulevard/Pico Boulevard (on Cotner Avenue)
Detour:
— From westbound 10 Freeway: exit Bundy North, turn right to northbound Bundy Drive, turn right on eastbound Santa Monica Boulevard, and turn left to enter the northbound 405 Freeway at the Santa Monica Boulevard on-ramp.
— From eastbound 10 Freeway: exit at Overland Avenue off-ramp, turn right to northbound Overland, turn left to westbound Pico Boulevard, turn right to northbound Sepulveda Boulevard, turn left to westbound Santa Monica Boulevard, and turn right to enter the northbound 405 Freeway at the Santa Monica Boulevard on-ramp.
