Los Angeles City Attorney Mike Feuer today endorsed Sheila Kuehl in her race to replace Zev Yaroslavsky on the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors.
“I’m proud to endorse Sheila Kuehl in her race for Los Angeles County Supervisor,” Feuer said in a statement. “I’ve enjoyed a very close and productive relationship with current Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky and strongly believe Sheila is the person best qualified to succeed him.”
Kuel said she was “thrilled” to receive the endorsement. She will face fellow Democrat Bobby Shriver in the November runoff.
Kuehl, 73, served eight years in the California Senate and six years in the Assembly.
