Members of the Santa Monica Democratic Club are invited to vote to endorse candidates for local offices today, Sept. 3 at the Santa Monica Public Library MLK Auditorium beginning at 6:30 pm.
Democrats who are candidates for Santa Monica City Council, Rent Control Board, College Board of Trustees, and School Board will be considered.
After brief statements and Q&A by the candidates, votes will be taken with 55 percent of votes cast needed for the Club endorsement.
The public is invited, but only club members can vote. There is no charge to attend and paid parking available.
The Santa Monica Main Library is located at 601 Santa Monica Blvd., Santa Monica.
