Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Burglarizing Venice Home:

A man was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly burglarizing a Venice home while the residents were sleeping.

The break-in occurred in the 600 block of Venezia Avenue about 5 am, said a sergeant at the Los Angeles Police Department’s Pacific Station.

The watch sergeant said detectives were looking into whether the suspect, whose name was not immediately released, is linked to other “hot prowls” in the area.

She said there was no indication of a sexual component to the crime. It was unclear whether anything was taken from the home.
