A body was found Friday in a wash near a Santa Monica (10) Freeway off-ramp in the Mid-City area.
The remains were found just after 4 p.m. near the Venice Boulevard off-ramp from the westbound side of the freeway, according to Officer Sally Madera of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Section.
Police were on the scene, she said.
The off-ramp was shut down to accommodate the investigation, said California Highway Patrol Officer Patrick Kimball.
