Sheriff’s Deputy Crashes Department Motorcycle In Pacific Palisades Area:

A sheriff’s deputy was injured today when the department motorcycle he was riding crashed in the Pacific Palisades area, authorities said.

The crash occurred about 5:30 a.m. on Topanga Canyon Boulevard north of Pacific Coast Highway, according to the sheriff’s department and the California Highway Patrol. The deputy was taken to a hospital in unknown condition.

Topanga Canyon Boulevard was closed between PCH and Grandview Drive while an investigation was being conducted, the CHP reported.
