Wannabe stargazers began bidding Wednesday for seats along the red carpet at the 21st annual Screen Actors Guild Awards.
SAG’s bleacher seat auction will begin at 6 pm Wednesday and continue through 6 p.m. Jan. 10 at www.sagawards.org/auction.
Up for grabs are more than 100 seats in the bleachers outside the Shrine Auditorium on Jan. 25. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the SAG Foundation’s children’s literacy programs and the union’s Catastrophic Health Fund and Emergency Assistance programs for performers in need.
SAG will begin its Awards Ceremony Auction on Jan. 23, offering items from this year’s nominees, such as autographed scripts and posters, wardrobe and props.
