The McClure Tunnel in Santa Monica will be closed tonight, Wednesday Feb. 18, so that a California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) tunnel washing crew can remove soot and dirt from the walls and ceiling.
Between 11 pm and 5 pm, westbound Santa Monica Freeway (I-10) lanes will be closed at Lincoln Boulevard, and southbound Pacific Coast Highway (SR-1) lanes will be closed at the California Incline.
Caltrans said a signed detour will be in place; Minor delays are expected.
