Shore Hotel will host a community blood drive in partnership with Cedar-Sinai’s blood donor services from noon to 6 pm on Monday, Nov. 30.
All donors age 17 and older are welcome to participate. Pre-sign ups are encouraged, and walk-ins are always welcome. All donors will receive a voucher for a free pint of Baskin Robbins icecream.
“Having worked as a flight paramedic in Arizona, I understand the serious need for blood donations,” says Shore Hotel’s COO Steve Farzam. “It is estimated that 40 percent of the population is eligible to give blood, but less than 10 percent do, so we encourage our neighbors, employees and hotel guests to give blood, which is giving life to someone in need.”
Shore Hotel is located at 1515 Ocean Ave., Santa Monica.
