Vehicle Fire Near LAX Quickly Extinguished:

Los Angeles International Airport.

A vehicle fire near a Los Angeles International Airport taxiway was quickly extinguished, according to authorities.

The fire was reported at 11:46 p.m. Friday at taxiway A-7 Alpha near Imperial Avenie, Los Angeles City Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey said.

No one was injured, Humphrey said.

The vehicle belonged to an airport vendor, Airport Police Officer Alicia Hernandez said.

It was not known whether he fire caused any flight delays.
