Police Investigate Overnight Venice Shooting At Sixth St./San Juan Ave.:

Police are investigating a party that turned violent in Venice overnight after shots were fired at around 1:30 am near Sixth St. and San Juan Ave.

At least four people, including one male and one female, were transported to hospitals in unknown condition. A fifth person was treated for excessive intoxication.

CBS reports the shooting took place amid a party with a DJ that was going on at a property rented through AirBnB.

As a vehicle drove up, shots were fired into a crowd and someone in the crowd fired back
