Anti-development petitions behind the LUVE initiative will be out in force today, in a strong final countdown push to the signature finish line.
The petition, advocating a grinding halt to large development projects in Santa Monica has been steadily gaining traction, organizers said, but the remaining seven days in the campaign are vitally important.
"Help fellow residents take back our city from developer control," organizers stated, "Know what your leaders are saying yes to in your city. And support LUVE to give residents the right to vote on theses projects."
