Food Drive at Dry Cleaners to Help Westside Food Bank:

Food Drive

Flair Cleaners Santa Monica is hosting a Flair Cares Spring Food Drive until May 31, benefiting the Westside Food Bank.

Flair will make a matching contribution of up to 1,000 pounds of food donated by its customers and members of the community.

All customers who donate will receive a coupon for 50 percent off dry cleaning.

“It’s important to all of us at Flair to give back to the communities who support us,” said Gary Futterman. “When we learned that nearly 1.5 million people in Los Angeles County don’t have enough money to buy adequate food for their families, we knew we had to act quickly to help our local food banks replenish their shelves.”

Anyone wishing to contribute can bring unopened, non-perishable commercially prepared, canned or boxed food to Flair Cleaners-Santa Monica, 720 Montana Ave.

Food items that have passed their expiration dates or items in glass jars cannot be accepted. For a complete list of recommended food items, visit Flair Cleaners’ Facebook page.
