The Main Street Parade has grown every year and brings together families, musicians, civic groups and exhibitionists of all stripes who want to strut their stuff.
The Conservancy will be marching in the parade, and the Preservation Resource Center will be open to visitors from10:30 am – 12:30 pm.
Volunteers will march with the Conservancy banner and help promote our docent tours downtown, at the Beach House, and at the Shotgun House. Our theme is Old Hollywood! Dress in a 1930’s outfit or come in your red, white and blue.
Volunteers will need arrive between 8 – 8:30 am to sign a waiver at the Civic Auditorium when they arrive. The parade will begin at 9:30 am and conclude at 11:00 am. If you would like to march with the Conservancy, email volunteer@smconservancy.org and we will send you additional information.
