In celebration of the fall season, for the first time ever the City of Santa Monica hosted a Fall Festival for children and families at Virginia Avenue Park off of Pico Boulevard this past Saturday, which was also the first day of October. The event, which spanned the majority of Virginia Avenue Park, included activities, games, booths by local organizations, a stage for performances and food trucks. Activities and games included storytelling in English and Spanish, a toy horse lassoing station, pumpkin decorating, a hay bale maze and much more.
