Ballot

The City of Santa Monica City Clerk’s Office is partnering with the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk’s (LA RR/CC) Office to serve as a Ballot Drop-Off Location for the November 8, 2016 Presidential General Election.

The City Clerk’s Office previously served as a Ballot Pick Up/Drop-Off Location for the June Primary Election.

Voters wishing to vote early may request a Vote by Mail (VBM) ballot from the LA RR/CC online at lavote.net, or by phone at 562.466.1323.

Completed VBM ballots can be dropped-off at either the Santa Monica City Clerk’s Office (City Hall, 1685 Main Street, Room 102), any LA RR/CC District office or most City Clerk’s Offices in the county.

Drop-Off Locations began accepting ballots Tuesday, October 11 and will do so until Monday, November 7 during regular business hours.

One of the goals of the VBM Drop-Off program is to continue to provide convenient, accessible, and transparent options for Los Angeles County voters to cast their ballot, on, and before Election Day.

For a complete list of Ballot Drop-Off Locations, visit lavote.net.

The City of Santa Monica’s November 8th General Municipal Election will be consolidated with the Presidential Election.
