The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped Wednesday to its lowest amount since Feb. 9, decreasing three-tenths of a cent to $2.92.
The average price is six-tenths of a cent less than one week ago, 10.7 cents lower than one month ago and 1.5 cents below what it was one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The Orange County average price dropped to its lowest amount since Feb. 3, decreasing six-tenths of a cent to $2.884. It is 1.2 cents less than one week ago, 12.2 cents lower than one month ago and 4 cents below what it was one year ago.
