Police Discovered the Victim Close to the Beach Restrooms
On Monday, a man was apprehended by authorities in Santa Monica following a stabbing incident at the beach, resulting in another man being hospitalized, as reported by KTLA.
The Santa Monica Police Department responded to a 911 call indicating an assault with a deadly weapon in the 2000 block of Santa Monica Beach at approximately 2:07 p.m.
Upon arrival at the scene, the police discovered the victim in close proximity to the beach restrooms, experiencing the effects of at least one stab wound to his chest.
A video posted to the Citizen App portrayed the situation, showcasing a significant police presence, as first responders provided immediate medical aid and performed CPR on the victim, who was lying on the ground. A trail of blood was also visible near the restroom area.
Nearby, law enforcement officers were observed handcuffing an individual dressed in a dark colored cap and a dark shirt, potentially connected to the incident.
