Chef Tony Messina Will Showcase His East Coast-Inspired Seafood Concept
Santa Monica’s Tallula’s restaurant is hosting a special event featuring James Beard Award-winning Chef Tony Messina, who previously appeared at Esters. The event, called “Tallula’s x Surf Clam,” will take place on Monday nights throughout July. Located at 118 Entrada Drive, Tallula’s is known for its beachside Mexican cuisine, Patch reported.
Chef Tony Messina, originally from Boston and now based in Los Angeles, will be showcasing his East Coast-inspired seafood concept, The Surf Clam, during the event. The menu will include New England dishes such as lobster rolls, fried clams, crudo, sashimi, various small plates, and a large-format dish. Each dish will showcase California produce and seafood, providing a perfect dining experience just steps away from the Pacific Ocean.
