Plant-Based Deli Opening on Montana Avenue

It Is Described as a “Casually Gourmet” Space With “Take a Number” Paper Tickets

A fresh, plant-based sub-sando concept is on the horizon, courtesy of Brittany and Terrence Caldwell, as they prepare to unveil B&T’s Deli at 912 Montana Avenue, taking over the former Greens Up! space, What Now Los Angeles reported.

The Caldwells told the outlet they aim to make the establishment, which takes over the former Greens Up! space, a “casually gourmet” space with “take a number” paper tickets and neatly packaged pickled vegetables where patrons unwrap a sandwich encased in wax paper.

“B&T’s Deli pays homage to the classic Jewish and Italian delis of our upbringing but with a contemporary twist suited for today’s world,” the couple conveyed via Instagram. “Places like Bay Cities in Santa Monica hold a special place in our hearts—they signify more than just delectable cuisine to us.”

The married couple told What Now they plan for the deli to open its doors in December.
