The holidays are returning to the beach as Downtown Santa Monica, Inc. (DTSM, Inc.) brings back Ice at Santa Monica, presented by Disney+ and Hulu, for its 17th consecutive year. The seasonal ice rink, located at 1324 5th Street, will be open November 7, 2025, through January 19, 2026, offering visitors a chance to skate under the stars just steps from the Pacific.

The season kicks off with a Grand Opening Celebration on Friday, November 7, from 6 to 10 p.m. The evening will feature free skating sessions (available on a first-come, first-served basis), live music from a DJ, on-ice performances, giveaways, and a surprise “snowfall” to set the winter scene in true Santa Monica style.

General admission is $22 for a 60-minute skating session, including skate rentals. The rink will be open daily from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m., with fire pits, private party tent rentals, and themed events scheduled throughout the season.

Among the special programming highlights:

  • Taylor Swift Birthday Celebration – Friday, December 13 (7:30–9 p.m.)
  • New Year’s Eve East Coast Countdown – Tuesday, December 31 (7:30–10 p.m.)
