Santa Monica Conservancy to Hold Volunteer Appreciation Event in April

Organizers say the gathering will celebrate the dedication and passion of volunteers who help preserve and present Santa Monica’s heritage.

The Santa Monica conservancy group will honor its docents and volunteers during a Volunteer Appreciation Day celebration on Monday, April 27, from 6 to 8 p.m.

The event, co-hosted with the Annenberg Community Beach House, will recognize individuals who contribute their time each year to sharing the city’s history with the public.

Organizers say the gathering will celebrate the dedication and passion of volunteers who help preserve and present Santa Monica’s heritage.

The event will take place at the beach house, located at 415 Pacific Coast Highway. Festivities will include a buffet dinner catered by Back on the Beach.

Attendees are asked to RSVP in advance.
