All-Star Lineup to Celebrate Films of Wes Anderson at Hollywood Bowl

Los Angeles Philharmonic announces three-night concert series featuring Beck, Karen O and others in July performances.

The Los Angeles Philharmonic has announced an expanded lineup of performers for “Music from the Films of Wes Anderson,” a three-night concert event set for July 10–12 at the Hollywood Bowl.

The program will feature a wide range of guest artists, including Beck, Jackson Browne, Karen O, Rufus Wainwright and Jeff Goldblum, among others. Additional performers are expected to be announced.

Concerts on July 10 and 11 will feature the Los Angeles Philharmonic conducted by Thomas Wilkins, alongside an all-star house band led by music director Justin Meldal-Johnsen. The July 12 performance will feature the house band and special guests.

The event, developed in collaboration with filmmaker Wes Anderson and longtime music supervisor Randall Poster, will showcase music spanning Anderson’s career, including selections from films such as Bottle Rocket through more recent works.

Organizers said the performances will combine orchestral pieces, film clips and popular songs featured in Anderson’s films, with music by composers including Alexandre Desplat and Mark Mothersbaugh.

Each night will feature a different lineup of guest artists, according to organizers.

In addition to the performances, the Hollywood Bowl grounds will include themed installations and merchandise inspired by Anderson’s visual style and filmography.
